Justin leads the growing team at TIPLER, which benefits from his years of business experience and knowledge of design-led construction.

Justin graduated from Manchester Business School in the UK with a Master's in Business Finance and embarked on a career in technology, establishing several high-growth startups which he subsequently sold.

This path ultimately led him, in early 2000, to pursue his true passions...architecture and design.

Justin successfully completed a diverse range of construction projects in the UK, including renovation of 16th-century English country homes to new class A office developments, before moving to Houston. Over the past decade he has developed the TIPLER Group into an award winning multidisciplinary design and construction business.

Justin is an affiliate member of the American Institute of Architects, associate member of the Urban Land Institute, a National Association of Home Builders Master Builder and a Certified Green Professional.

Greg has over 30 years of real estate development, covering all aspects of development within residential, hospitality, healthcare and commercial markets.

Greg started his professional career as a CPA and has held several Senior Partner and Founder positions in both practice and consulting including Zelenofske, Axelrod and Co and ZA Consulting representing lenders, investors, and equity partners on numerous transactions including: transaction appraisal, structure, performance monitoring, compliance, and sale.

His most recent position was as President and CEO of Health Mark Group, an operator of multiple Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Centers, which he subsequently sold.

As a chairman and partner, Greg provides strategic support and guidance in the areas of legal, finance and governance while serving as a professional adviser to support the continued growth of all the TIPLER Group businesses. Greg also works with TIPLER’s founding partners on the evaluation of new investments, developments, joint ventures, and partnership opportunities.

A qualified CPA, Heidi heads up the financial team at TIPLER and manages the company’s administrative functions.

She ensures complete financial  transparency on all projects and is integral to our professional service.

Gary Short


Alexa leads the design team at TIPLER. Her professional experience spans from high end residential to hospitality project types including luxury resorts, commercial offices, and historic boutique hotel renovations. She is a natural leader and client advocate.

Alexa holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design and a minor in Art History from the CIDA/NASAD accredited School of Art and Design at Florida State University.

Stacie studied design at the CIDA-accredited interior design program at University of Houston, graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design and a minor in Architecture.

She has 15 years of experience in all facets of the industry.

Amanda graduated from the CIDA accredited interior design program at Baylor University with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. She is a Registered Interior Designer with a professional background in the hospitality industry.

Jennifer graduated magna cum laude from Texas A & M University in 2000 with a Bachelor in Environmental Design.

While there she developed a passion for interior design. Her creativity inspires a unique problem-solving style that helps to make spaces functional and aesthetically beautiful.

Anna graduated magna cum laude from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Interior Design and minor in Architecture.

Prior to joining the TIPLER, Anna worked as a design assistant with TTU Housing services, working primarily on resident hall renovations and served as the president of the student chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers.


Amelia Scherer


Val has 19 years of home building experience having begun his career in carpentry and has relentless attention to detail across every aspect from millwork to framing and roofing.

Brandon comes to the team with ten years of experience on the labor side, as well as ten years of accounts payable experience within the construction industry.

Lauren was born and raised in Chicago where she earned her Bachelor Degree from Northern Illinois University in 2004 and her MBA from Saint Xavier University with a concentration in Corporate finance in 2008.  Over the past 14 years,  she’s worked in a variety of industries including commercial finance which have allowed her to develop a unique set of skills. She also has a different perspective that allows her to assist companies in meeting their goals and objectives.  Lauren moved from Chicago to Texas in 2012 and has two amazing little girls (Em 11, Lani 7), who definitely keep her on her toes. She’s grateful for the opportunity to join the Tipler team and looks forward to applying and growing her skills within the Tipler family.

A native of Spain and fluent in five languages, Arantxa is responsible for all aspects of purchasing and contracting for each project we undertake, ensuring goods, materials, and labor are supplied in a timely manner to keep projects on schedule.

Josh graduated from Harding University with a Bachelor of Business Administration and has project management experience in both new construction and remodeling.

He brings an analytical approach to his role within the purchasing department to help facilitate the flow of goods, materials, and labor.
