Construction Superintendent

Location:  Austin, TX

Role Summary

The Luxury Custom Home Superintendent is responsible for the on-site execution of high-end, architect-driven residential projects. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong leadership, and the ability to independently manage the construction of complex custom homes with premium materials, specialized trades, and discerning clientele. The Superintendent manages the quality control schedule and site professionalism from pre-construction meetings to closing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of home construction from sitework through final delivery
  • Maintain absolute control of schedule, sequencing, and workflow
  • Ensure flawless execution of architectural details, finishes, and custom elements
  • Serve as the on-site authority representing the company
  • Enforce the highest standards of workmanship across all trades
  • Oversee installation of bespoke materials (stone, millwork, specialty finishes, custom windows/doors, etc.)
  • Coordinate elite specialty subcontractors and artisans
  • Interface professionally with homeowners, architects, and interior designers
  • Maintain rigorous jobsite safety, cleanliness, and confidentiality

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Residential Superintendent with luxury custom home experience
• Deep understanding of high-end residential construction methods
• Proven ability to independently manage complex custom builds
• Exceptional attention to detail and finish quality
• Strong leadership and communication skills

Assistant Financial Controller

Location:  The Woodlands, TX

Industry: Luxury Residential Construction / Architecture / Interior Design

Role Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Assistant Controller to support our continued growth. This role is responsible for full-cycle accounting and the day-to-day financial management for both design and construction projects

This role emphasizes job-cost accuracy, WIP integrity, cash-flow discipline, and margin protection while working closely with project managers, designers, and ownership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close
  • Manage full-cycle accounting, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, sales tax, and journal entries
  • Sort, code, and match invoices to purchase orders
  • Process weekly check runs, including vendor lien waivers; scan and attach supporting documentation
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Code and enter credit card transactions
  • Prepare and file monthly sales tax reports
  • Maintain sales and work-in-progress (WIP) tracking.
  • Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations
  • Work closely with the Controller and CFO on reporting and financial analysis
  • Oversee job setup, cost coding, and cost-to-complete tracking
  • Monitor budget vs. actuals for labor, subcontractors, materials, and allowances
  • Track change orders, client upgrades, and scope changes
  • Review progress billings and manage retainage

Qualifications

  1. Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)

CPA or CMA (preferred)

  1. Experience

5–10+ years in construction accounting with experience

Including Job costing, WIP, project accounting

Compensation

$90,000– $120,000+, depending on experience.
