AMANDA THREADGILL

Designer

Amanda joined the TIPLER team in 2017 having previously worked in hospitality design. Her experience has been instrumental in her role as one of our key designers.

She achieved a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Baylor University (CIDA accredited). After college she went on to receive her NCIDQ certification which allowed me to become a registered interior designer (RID) in Texas.

Amanda hails from Traverse City, MI… the cherry capital of the world, but moved to Texas for college. “When you marry a Texan, you become a Texan!”

When not working with clients, Amanda is extremely active. She loves running, swimming and walking her two pups (Willie and Wallie), and she’s also currently learning tennis!

Her creativity doesn’t stop when she’s not in the office: “I also enjoy crafting, specifically crocheting at the moment. Since I enjoy working with my hands, I love the craftsmanship and skill that goes into building quality homes & furniture. Due to being raised in a resort town with picturesque surroundings and plenty of seasonal outdoor activities, I am also inspired by nature.  I love using materials that are stripped down to show their natural beauty.

Amanda originally went into Interior Design due to her love for people and desire to create a space that reflects their personalities, backgrounds and interests. She loves the challenge to make each home unique for the individuals that will be living within the space.

“My favorite area to work with in my job is fabric! I love mixing and matching fabrics – it is like a puzzle on how the different selections will work with one another.”
